I just got into an ugly fight with a cashier. Usually I'm a polite, mild-mannered person, trying to tackle most problems with a smile. Today, though, I'm cranky, overworked, still sick and in a bad mood.

SO DON'T TRY TELLING ME THIS IS RADISH:

Especially not when radish costs four times as much. Seriously.

What are your Monday annoyances?

A radish? Um. Perhaps the cashier should have taken a bite out of this beautiful kohlrabi. Really, people!

Monday annoyances? Well, I love the thunder storm that just went down. I am sure you are enjoying it to over in your little valley. :) We had lightning flashing across the sky and all. So, not an annoyance.

The mystery edit I am doing right now? Yes, annoying. Boring, too. *head desk*

Bist du gut nach hause gekommen? ♥

She wouldn't believe me even after I went to get a radish and put it on the counter next to each other.

We're sitting tight here (and munching kohlrabi). Inside it's nice - and I think the rain just stopped. Driving home today wasn't fun, though.

*hugs* don't let the edits get the better of you.

My monday annoyance is that we had a mini tornado yesterday which crushed our porch and our power will be out for the foreseeable future. And. Have houseguests! My life is awesome. (stole a friend's iPhone to check lj. :p)

Eeep. I'd send you some power if I knew how. Do you at least have candles? I'm crossing my crossables and hope your power will be back soon. *hugs*

We have candles! And hot running water, and telephones, because those aren't connected to the electricity. Thank god. We do not, however, have air conditioning. T_T

I'm currently hiding out in the bookstore. It has free WiFi. :D

I'm glad to hear you're okay! And I know that no air conditioning sucks (we don't have any at all and nearly died of heat two weeks ago), but it's better than freezing in winter.

Yay for free WiFi! I'm still crossing my fingers and hope you'll get the power back SOON.

Never had that... whatever it is. Still, did you finally win? LOVES.

I think they're not wide-spread on your side of the earth. They're on mine, though, and they taste great! Once, a long time ago, a turnip and a cabbage loved each other very much and shagged like bunnies. That's the result. Kind of hot-sweet-crunchy. You can eat it raw and dip it into things. I won eventually and got my money back.
